The yam flour Industry manufactures yam flour which a good choice for gluten free recipes. Use of this flour is known to create lighter, fluffier products as well. The factory is built by the Benue State Government but was not operational hence the initiation of the PPP, the Government adopted a Build Operate Transfer (BOT) model which was adopted for the partners to buy machines, upgrade facilities and maintain them for a period of the PPP after which the factory will be transferred back to the State Government. The PPP done following due processes to indentify partners with the capacity, requisite private sector technology and innovation to operation efficiently by providing services and improving the management system of the factory. .
